Taking Social Security Early?

I am now part of the club; the Social Security benefit club. I started on Social Security at my full retirement age (FTA). I applied online and while my wife did the same thing at first, we had a few extra items to discuss in person at our local SSA office. Whether online or in person, we both had excellent experiences with SSA staff. Even when SSA staff needed to call us back, the calls came in their appointed time.

Let me say it again, our federal workers did an excellent job helping us navigate an important part of our retirement journey’s. There are plenty of resources available elsewhere, but make sure they are legit and trustworthy.
